At Corble Builders, in Petoskey, Michigan, we understand that remodeling projects can be challenging. We work to accommodate the homeowner's schedule and needs while we are changing the home in which they are currently living. The remodeling process is not always as cut and dried as new construction since building practices have changed over the years. What was acceptable 50 years ago may not be today. We work very closely with our homeowners, suppliers, and inspectors to make sure that, if we run into situations, they are resolved quickly and efficiently, and with the homeownerâs best interests in mind.

Select your appliances first to ensure they fit and design cabinets around them![]()
Consider the work triangle. Arrange the sink, range and refrigerator in a functional triangle for efficient workflow. ![]()
Range- Make sure there is a significant amount of counterspace on both sides. Placing it on the end of a cabinet run can create a hazard with large handles on pans. Prioritize safety, especially in homes with children and dogs. ![]()
Refrigerator- Consider the swing of the doors, make sure doors can open fully. Place the refrigerator outside the cook zone ![]()
